She started her career with Marie Claire Maison and added InStyle Home, Brava Casa, All Décor, Maison Française and Elle Decoration year by year. She works with brands like Kale Group (Kale Banyo, Kale Bodur, Çanakkale Seramik), Polisan, Apex Carpet, Alexandre Home Interiors, H&M Glass, Koleksiyon, Happily Ever Paper. 

She carries the “less is more” philosophy to her designs which is once again an uptrend in recent year. Scandinavian minimalism and functionality takes place not only in her works but also in her personal life.  An exhibition, a live performance or a concert might inspire Irem and also her close relationship with the nature is perceivable in her designs.
